COMPETE

One Competitor. A Lifetime of Results.

Whether you compete once a year or every weekend, OCA is designed to give your participation a consistent identity across sanctioned events and disciplines.

Your OCA ID

A permanent competition identity.

Your OCA ID is your unique identifier within the Open Competition Alliance. It stays connected to you across OCA-sanctioned events and helps ensure that entries, official results, credentials, and other competition records are attached to the right competitor, even when you compete in different disciplines or with different organizers.

Think of it as the thread connecting your participation across the OCA system: you compete, events change, disciplines may change, but your OCA identity stays with you.

The OCA Lifetime Registry

Copy could explain that OCA maintains a Lifetime Registry so sanctioned participation does not disappear when an event website closes or an organizer changes systems. The registry creates a durable record connected to the competitor’s OCA identity.

We’re working on getting the display/interface up and running, but it’ll show things like:

  • Total lifetime registry points, earned from registration, participation, placement and service across the OCA network.
  • Any placements or titles earned.
  • Sanctioned event participation.

Live for The Game

Compete in DanceSport this weekend. Enter a karaoke contest next month. Decide six months from now that competitive origami has suddenly become your entire personality. We’re not here to judge your journey.

Your OCA ID belongs to you, not to a single discipline. As you compete across different events and activities, your sanctioned participation and official results can continue building under the same identity. One competitor, many possible rabbit holes.
